Beginners will usually start at the foot of the Brevent ski area, at Les Planards and the Savoy, where the gentle nursery slopes are ideal for gaining confidence. The Intermediate skier will find a tremendous choice split over the 4 areas covered by the local "Chamski" pass, interconnected by the ski bus which is included in the lift pass. There is an excellent range of blue and red runs to choose from, including those to be found on the Grands Montets glacier. Take a guide and experience the incredible 24km Vallée Blanche run! For the advanced skier, the off piste skiing here, is second to none in Europe and the adrenaline-inducing Mont Blanc Massif is not to be missed!

Hotel Alpina
★★★★ | Chamonix • Distance to lifts: 5- 6 minutes’ walk from the Planpraz Ski Lift (600m) • Distance to resort centre: 300m • Room Facilities: All rooms have ensuite bath or shower & WC, feature a TV and some offer a balcony. • Board Basis: HB • Facilities: Located in the centre of Chamonix, the rooms of Hotel Alpina offer great mountain views. In the mornings, a rich breakfast buffet is served, and in the evenings guests can enjoy the famous surf and turf buffet of the hotel restaurant “Le Vista”. After an exciting day full of skiing pleasures, there is hardly anything better than a cosy fireplace and a relaxed lounge atmosphere, both are offered at the bar of the Hotel Alpina. Furthermore, guests are invited to play billiards in a dedicated room.
