A cosmopolitan ski resort nestling below the mighty Mont Blanc, Chamonix offers superb skiing and, unlike many ski resorts in France, caters well for the non-skier. The town has a wealth of shops, bars and restaurants, and an excellent sport centre.

The adrenaline-inducing Mont Blanc Massif is not to be missed!

Beginners will usually start at the foot of the Brevent ski area, at Les Planards and the Savoy, where the gentle nursery slopes are ideal for gaining confidence. The Intermediate skier will find a tremendous choice split over the 4 areas covered by the local "Chamski" pass, interconnected by the ski bus which is included in the lift pass. There is an excellent range of blue and red runs to choose from, including those to be found on the Grands Montets glacier. Take a guide and experience the incredible 24km Vallée Blanche run! For the advanced skier, the off piste skiing here, is second to none in Europe and the adrenaline-inducing Mont Blanc Massif is not to be missed!
