Surrounded by the spectacular Brenta Dolomites, Madonna di Campiglio has the reputation of being one of Italy's most exclusive ski resorts. It is much favoured by the rich and famous as it offers everything you could wish for in a winter sports holiday. This area was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in the last century and the attractive village centre still has a traditional Alpine feel to it whilst being undoubtedly chic and stylish.

The nursery slopes are situated at Carlo Campo Magno where there are three drag lifts (which are not included on the lift pass) and gentle, wide open spaces ideal for first timers. We recommend that beginners do not pre-book a lift pass. Intermediate skiers will find more than enough to keep them busy as the Madonna di Campiglio ski area extends to include the nearby resorts of Marilleva and Folgarida, providing a total of 150kms of well groomed runs. You can also head off to the uncrowded slopes of nearby Pinzolo, linked to Madonna di Campiglio by bus. For the more adventurous there are several black runs including the famous World Cup giant slalom run, the 'Tre 3'.

The quality of food in its restaurants will satisfy any gourmand!
