The cosmopolitan and chic resort of Kitzbühel has been welcoming skiers for many years, and every January it hosts one of the most famous World Cup Downhill races on the Hahnenkamm. Although the centre of Kitzbühel dates back many centuries and the painted houses and cobbled streets add to its unique atmosphere, the stylish shops and restaurants are most certainly of this century.
