Selva is probably the most well known resort on the Sella Ronda, situated in the pretty ‘Val Gardena’. The resort is part of the Sud-Tirol (once part of Austria) so much of the architecture is typical of that found in other areas of the Austrian Tirol. Selva is well known for world champion ski racing, down the men’s downhill run on the Ciampinoi mountain, but there are suitable slopes here for all abilities from beginners upwards, with some excellent intermediate red and black runs to be explored.
